Our Mission

At the World Student Alliance, our mission is to cultivate a global community where students feel welcomed, supported, and free to express their passions. Guided by our core principles and values, we aim to foster personal growth, collective understanding, and meaningful action through three key pillars:

Our History

Founded on November 9, 2020, the World Student Alliance was established as a platform to unite students during the challenging period of the COVID-19 pandemic, fostering connections and amplifying student voices. The society held its first general meeting on November 26, 2020, marking the beginning of its journey toward inclusivity and collaboration.

On July 30, 2023, the Alliance hosted its inaugural World Student Conference, showcasing a diverse range of academic and cultural presentations from various divisions. In September 2023, the society gained greater recognition through a school-wide assembly at Wellington College.

By September 23, 2024, the Alliance expanded its reach into universities, connecting students from prestigious institutions like Oxford, Cambridge, LSE, UCL, NYU, and Edinburgh. With a growing presence in divisions worldwide, including the US, Hong Kong, and Mainland China, the World Student Alliance continues to champion unity and global collaboration.
